Automatic Floatation Skimmer manufactured by Hydro International, is a highly advanced Scum Skimmer. This low cost unit is designed specificially to deal effectively with the removal of oil, grease and hydrocarbons from wasterwater surfaces in such applications as Underground Tanks, Fat and Grease Traps, Aeration Tanks and Static Tanks, etc. Description
The inlet funnel, which is immersed in the water, works by decanting floating materials off
of the water's surface. It is fully adjustable so that it can be set to the correct depth,
thus ensuring efficient removal of contaminants. The funnel's height can be set from 10mm up to 100mm,
depending on the concentration and depth of the floating material.Materials of Construction
The Motor, inlet funnel and support frame are made from 304 stainless steel.The Mechanical Seal material is of silicon carbide which provides protection against overheating The Pump Casing is constructed of cast iron and it's Impeller is made of polyamide.
